Violi Fishing is a premier fishing tour company located in Rovinj, Croatia and is owned and operated by Mati, a local passionate fisherman, professional chef and cooking trainer. Being a loving father, he named the company after his two children Viola and Oliver. Violi Fishing was founded with the aim of bringing his passion to fellow anglers of all experience levels. Whether you're a seasoned angler or a beginner, Mati has the knowledge and equipment to make your fishing trip a success.

Our boat
Our boat has to be just as flexible as we are at Violi Fising. Wether it is offshore tuna fishing, reef fishing or a small coastal trip - the Benetau Antares 600 HB and its modern Yamaha 115HP ensure speed, provide stability and grant security. At 6 meters of length,it is comfortable and spacious and can carry up to 4 passengers. It comes with a range of equipment that leaves no desires - a GPS makes navigating easy, a state-of-the-art fish finder allows for precise scouting, live bait storage and icebox allow for easy handling of fresh and caught fish. And if you like, we can put on your favourite songs on the on board multimedia - soundsystem.

Inshore Fishing Trips
From the boat, we target Istrias most common fish in up to 30m depth with light tackle. Train your skill on light tackle drills and catch spectacular fish - that you can eat too!
Offshore Fishing
Strap on your fighting belt and get ready for action! This trip targets big fish like tuna and albacore that put up a real fight and make for a spectacular drill. Our local knowledge boosts your chance to drill the fish of your lifetime!
Near Shore Fishing
Best suited for family and beginner trips - or those who prefer calm water. In Istrias beautiful lagoons and in front of the coast we can catch everything from small an medium size fish to large fish to. It really is up to you!
Wreck + Reef fishing
Ready for something new every catch? Reefs and sunken shipwrecks provide a rich habitat for a large variety of fish, making it possible to catch all kind of different species - more fish, more fun!
Tuna Fishing
Ready for action? There is nothing quite like the drill of a giant bluefin tuna. Reaching up to 200kg, hooking a giant like these can resulut in a multi-hour fight. So you better pack some extra energy bars!
